THE PURPOSE OF THIS INFORMATION

My goal is to help reduce the stress level of buying a home, make the process simple and be a positive learning experience.

For over a decade, which I have been guiding buyers through the technical aspects of their new homes, I have observed three distinct trends:

  1. Increasing complexity of the modern home.
  2. A growing compulsion among homebuyers to do the right thing for their families.
  3. There are more environmental tests being done as part of the inspection process.
Together these three trends have taken much of the fun out of buying a new home and have confused and discouraged buyers.

With this information I try to put things into perspective by answering commonly asked questions. After getting feedback from over 8,000 home inspections, I feel qualified to do this on your behalf.

Hopefully this guidance will help you sort out what's important in your own mind. This will enable you to move forward in an organized and calm fashion and have some fun along the way.
